Le cerceau a également été soumis à des tests rigoureux par des testeurs de sécurité indépendants, tu peux donc être assuré qu'il est entièrement certifié et que son utilisation est sans danger.

Si tu n'as pas établi un bolasnt de gréement sûr, fais-le d'abord avec l'aide d'un ingénieur en structure/gréeur expérimenté/professionnel qui connaît bien ce que tu accroches et l'endroit où tu l'accroches.

Be a Star

2-Point Aerial Hoops allow you to use the top of the bar differently and open up moves that you can only do with a 2-point hoop, like Star on Top Bar.

If you’re lucky enough to have the height, you can rig your hoop with extra-long strops creating a long isosceles triangle. This opens up even more moves as you can use the space between the ropes, similar to a dance trapeze.

The tabs on our 2-Point Hoop are set at the perfect distance from each other, so you can use the space between the ropes comfortably without feeling cramped.

You might also want to consider going up a size if you intend to use this hoop for doubles.

Note: All sizes listed are the EXTERNAL diameter of the Hoop. For the internal measurement deduct 5 cm (2 inches) from the external diameter

To Spin or not to Spin

If you do not want the Hoop to spin, you need to connect each strop/rope vertically to an anchor point with a carabiner. We recommend this when you want to be assured of facing the audience.

To spin, you must make a triangle (or upside-down vee) with your ropes/strops above the hoop. In rigging, we call this a bridle. To safely connect each of your ropes to a single point, you need a rigging plate. You will use a carabiner at the top of the rigging plate to connect to a swivel and then another carabiner securing you to your anchor point.

You can also use a Triangle Hanging Rope.

How to Rig a 2 Point Hoop

You can choke a Polyester Strop or Aerial PolySafe Rope from each tab. Attaching soft rigging directly to the hoop reduces metal-on-metal wear and removes hardware from where you will hock on.

You can attach a Polyester Strop, Aerial PolySafe Rope, Aerial CottonSafe Rope, or a Dyna-Core Hanging Rope to each tab with a carabiner.

You can use a Prodigy Aerial Sewn Loop Sling in some circumstances, but we don't recommend this for long-term rigging. You could use these in a performance if you need rigging which is less visible to the audience.

Stable 2 Point Lyra!

The ear placement on this Lyra is perfect! I have another Lyra that always seems to want to flip, but this one I can even grab the top and it hangs within reach. The ears are close enough to the top not to flip but also wide enough to do plenty of top bar tricks, strapwork, and comfortable for many static trapeze poses too.

Sturdy piece of kit

I generally train on a 100cm hoop, the size guide confirmed that this was the best fit for me. Delivery was super fast. I have struggled somewhat with getting the correct attachments between the hoop tabs and strops, but have had great advice and help from the Firetoys team in finding the appropriate solution for my requirements.
