Le Firetoys Outdoor Portique est fabriqué avec précision, entièrement conçu et fabriqué au Royaume-Uni, et sa résistance a été testée de manière indépendante. Ce cadre aérien extérieur de 5,5 m est idéal pour les festivals, les événements en plein air, ou même pour mettre dans le jardin si tu en as un assez grand !
Cette plateforme est adaptée et certifiée pour un maximum de deux personnes et a une limite de charge de travail (WLL) de 174kg en utilisant le facteur de sécurité (FoS) 10:1.

Tout ce qui suit suppose que tu disposes d'un bolasnt de gréement adapté et sûr, comme un bolasnt de gréement installé par un professionnel ou un gréement autoportant réputé et évalué. Toutes les maisons/studios ne sont pas identiques, c'est pourquoi nous ne pouvons pas te conseiller sur ce point. Si tu n'as pas établi un bolasnt de gréement sûr, fais-le d'abord avec l'aide d'un ingénieur en structure/gréeur expérimenté/professionnel qui connaît bien ce que tu accroches et l'endroit où tu l'accroches.

Big Rig, Big Opportunities

The Firetoys BigRig is a free standing outdoor aerial rig with five rigging points. Due to it's large frame, this precision-engineered aluminium rig is suitable for trapeze, aerial hoop (lyra), silks, corde lisse, and any other aerial apparatus. It's also strong enough for two-person training and performances. This rig resulted from 3 years of design, testing, and refinement and is one of Firetoys' most highly engineered products. 

Spacious and Stable

This top-spec freestanding A-frame won't sway or distort even under heavy loads. It's easily assembled and disassembled without tools and fits in most estate cars.

This aerial rig has two rigging height options, a 5.5m rigging point height and a 4.5m rigging point height. The BigRig's footprint is 7.3m x 7.3m when set up for the 5.5m height. When set to the lower 4.5m height, the footprint is 5.4m x 5.4m. It's completely freestanding and braced, so it doesn't require pegs. This rig will not sway or distort even with heavy beating.

Indoor and outdoor

The BigRig is made from corrosion-resistant aluminium and galvanized steel, making it suitable for external use.

Note: as with all metallic components, over extended periods of time exposed to the elements, some aesthetic degradation may occur, especially in harsh coastal environments. For this reason, we suggest dismantling the rig and storing it indoors when not in use for extended periods of time.

Though we built this A-frame to use outdoors, where no rigging points are found, it is perfect for use in any building where you can't rig to the existing structure. The grip on the base of the feet will provide traction without damaging floors, allowing it to be set up without issue.

The feet can be bolted to the floor if you intend a semi-permanent indoor installation.

Rigging Versatility

The crane bar has five rigging points: three central and two for safety lines and pulley setups. The crane features a central solid plug for load distribution. The legs all feature chest height connection points for tying off or connecting carabiners.

Construction

Our aerial rig has been fully CAD designed and engineered to give it the optimal strength to weight ratio. We have fully developed and manufactured these rigs in the UK. All parts are machined in-house to precise tolerances and all joins are engineered to ensure exact fits before welding. These include high precision twinned bird's mouth cuts and bespoke gusseting.

We've used 3 phase industrial TIG welding. This type of welding is achieves maxium tensile strength while providing aesthetically pleasing welds. All joins are triple welded for ultimate strength: a root pass, a second pass, and a weaved capping pass. "

Tech Specs

The Firetoys BigRig has been fully strength tested and comes with certified working load limits (WLL). Destructive tests at an external professional load testing house were carried out to certify this rig. This gave us a WLL of 174kg at a safety ratio of 10:1.

We also performed extensive in-house dynamic load testing using fully calibrated load cells, imparting real-time forces of up to 1.74 kN. Certificates are available on request.

Awesome Piece of kit

This is a really impressive bit of kit. If you are fit and you know what you are doing it is easy to put up with a little bit of practice. And it does fit in a car but think hard about where the poles will go if you are shunted. We have used it to great effect and we love it. there are effectively 5 hang points. If you are using silks for workshops I reccommend hanging them from a pulley so if your student gets tangled you can lower them. I think it is well worth the money.

brillant rig, great service

Really pleased with the rig. It is well made and fits together really easily. Two of us had it set up in no time. The fact that each leg is in four parts makes it possible to fit in my car as well as making storage much easier. I asked if it could be delivered in time for my first show, which while they did not have any in stock Firetoys managed to make sure it was delivered in time. Brilliant rig, great service.

Best Thing I've ever bought!

I am completely over the moon with this rig I've had it for almost a year and don't know how I could live without it!!
It's so easy to put up (me and my sister can do it in 15 minutes!) and take down, venues are always surprised by how quickly we've gone once we've finished our performance.
It's very steady and strong and FITS IN MY CAR!!! With all of our dance floor, crash mat and props.
The feet and straps could do with being a bit more substantial (more for my peace of mind) but they've been tested so I'll trust that, also Firetoys have answered all my many many questions when I've called up, their customer service is top notch!
I'd recommend getting some silicone to go between your carabiners and the eyelets as if you sway then it can make a clicking sound as it moves over the imprinted numbers on the eyelet.

Put this together with ease. Perfect for all aerial arts. Construction is of a very high quality. Feel confident that this will last a very long time. Well worth paying a little more for something of this standard.
