Tissu aérien professionnel de haute qualité tissus (également connu sous le nom de tissu aérien, tissus ou ruban) de Prodigy.

280cm de large, 40 deniers, tricot de chaîne (tricot), 100% nylon, peu extensible, fabriqué au Royaume-Uni.

Ces tissus comprennent un sac réutilisable pour transporter et ranger vos tissu.

Veuillez noter que la taille indiquée correspond à la longueur totale du tissu. Les tissus aériens sont gréés à partir du centre, la longueur utile est donc un peu moins de la moitié de la longueur totale.

*Le tissu turquoise est sensible aux UV et se décolore à la lumière directe du soleil ou des lampes fluorescentes. Cela n'affectera pas la résistance du tissu.

Si tu n'as pas établi un bolasnt de gréement sûr, fais-le d'abord avec l'aide d'un ingénieur en structure/gréeur expérimenté/professionnel qui connaît bien ce que tu accroches et l'endroit où tu l'accroches.

Low stretch

Prodigy silks are woven with a tricot warp knit, giving them a small amount of bounce (low-stretch does not mean zero-stretch) without making them so stretchy as to drain your energy while climbing. This gives them enough cushioning for drops while leaving you with the stamina for long performances and routines.

Versatile width

At 2.8m/110 inches wide, these are excellent for cocoons and width-based wraps. They’re also perfect as a yoga hammock or aerial sling!

Although they’re wide, at 40 deniers, they won't be too bulky for most aerialists' hands.

These silks have a beautiful shine, giving a fantastic look to any performance while remaining grippy enough to climb easily. They also have just enough weight to stay in place for you without weighing you down while wrapping.

Slack drops

All aerial fabrics are prone to reaching high temperatures during long or high-energy slack drops, which can result in small melted patches and holes. These holes are caused primarily by the friction of the fabric rubbing against itself and the performer during high-speed movement. Correct technique, clothing, and fabric choice will help your fabrics last longer.

All nylon and low-stretch fabrics are more susceptible to this phenomenon than the stretchy polyester of Firetoys Silks.

You should always take care when practising slack drops and be aware of the heat you can generate during these drops. If you perform slack drops, you will need to inspect the entire length of your fabric regularly, and the fabric will need replacing more often.

Selvedge

Prodigy silks are produced with gummed edges, which prevent the fabric from curling after production. These appear as a series of slightly darker circles.

To retain the full width of the fabric, these edges have not been trimmed.

Please rest assured that they do not affect the strength, durability, or function of the fabric.

Great silks!

They are a bit more slidey than I expected but I'm sure it just takes getting used to. I wish I had gotten a bit longer of a silk but that is completely on me.

These are the best!

Such lovely silks for teaching beginners, and for playing on if you have more advanced skills. They are soft, grippy and much more pleasant to work on than other silks I've used in the past. Really love the colours too!

Great quality, too wide for vertical fabrics.

While likely great for a sling in aerial yoga, this fabric is very thick with two strands together for aerial dance , most of my adult students cannot get their hands around it. Otherwise it’s excellent.
