Si tu n'as pas établi un bolasnt de gréement sûr, fais-le d'abord avec l'aide d'un ingénieur en structure/gréeur expérimenté/professionnel qui connaît bien ce que tu accroches et l'endroit où tu l'accroches.

Hoop and trapeze skills

The Squaerial has no fixed rigging point, so you can choose how to rig it. Rig it from a central point or 2 points as a square or a corner as a diamond.

The shape of the Squaerial and the different rigging options give a unique opportunity to transfer aerial hoop and trapeze skills onto something new.

Each rigging option will change how the Squaerial feels and encourage you to use it differently.

More space for shapes

The Squaerial's shape gives you much more room inside than a hoop. This can give you some of the fun and visual impact of an aerial cube but in a 2D shape that is much more practical to store, transport, and rig!

A Squaerial is similar to an aerial picture frame or window frame. But those designs have sharp angles at the corners, which makes the corners uncomfortable and unusable. The Squaerial has been designed and tested with comfort and function in mind, so Prodigy has used rounded corners.

The Squaerial is available in one size, with an external diameter of 95cm/37.4" and an internal diameter of 90cm/35.4"

The usual size guide for aerial hoops doesn't quite apply to the Squaerial, as you will need to adapt to the different shape.

Tu peux étouffer une ou deux perches en polyester ou cordes aériennes PolySafe à partir de la barre supérieure ou d'un coin.

Si tu utilises le cerceau nu (sans ruban adhésif), tu dois mettre du ruban adhésif directement sous l'estrope/la corde PolySafe pour empêcher la barre de glisser.

Tu peux utiliser une élingue aérienne Prodigy dans certaines circonstances, mais nous ne la recommandons pas pour le gréage à long terme. Tu peux les utiliser lors d'un spectacle si tu as besoin d'un gréement moins visible pour le public.

Si tu ne veux pas que le Squaerial tourne, relie ta corde à ton point d'ancrage à l'aide d'un mousqueton. Nous recommandons cette méthode lorsque tu veux que le Squaerial soit gréé à partir d'un point face à un public.

Si tu veux tourner, tu as besoin d'un mousqueton au sommet de la corde, relié à un émerillon, et d'un autre mousqueton qui t'attache à ton point d'ancrage. Pour fixer deux points à partir d'un émerillon, tu dois utiliser une plaque de fixation et deux mousquetons supplémentaires.

En plus d'un point d'accrochage sûr, il existe des accessoires optionnels et du matériel d'accrochage essentiel dont tu pourrais avoir besoin.

Ce dont tu as besoin pour chaque type de cerceau aérien varie. Si tu as des questions, nous sommes heureux de t'aider. Nous recommandons les tapis de sol, le ruban adhésif, les aides à la préhension et les sangles pour les boucles de main.

The Squaerial is made from 10G tubing (25.4mm with 3mm wall). It’s professionally TIG-welded with a solid mild steel insert to back the weld. It’s powder-coated with a matte black finish, which looks great, protects the steel from rust, and is easy to wipe clean. Ready to use with or without tape.
