I'm familiar with staff spinning so I thought this would be a great investment to add to my skill set. It's incredibly fun to use with a difficult learning curve meaning anyone will have a nice challenge trying to advance from the basics. That being said there are very few other cubes available for purchase online with this cube having very quick shipping. However the loss of starts in my review comes from the construction of the cube itself and the longevity of the bars themselves. The corners are well made however they do have an issue with after a few goes around the screws start slipping off the bar and it comes apart. The only way to get around this issue is to basically keep the Allen key, which I'd recommend getting a real tool because you can get much better torque for it to hold the corner together, in your pocket for when it breaks. The bars themselves aren't awful either however the part where you run into a problem is that they're thin aluminum. If you've ever used circus gear thats aluminum it bends with pressure fairly easy. Day one of using this cube the corner separated from the bar put it down to find I had bent one of the bars. Overall while continuing to use the cube I'm worried about the longevity of the bars, and corners.
I'd recommend this product to anyone who has prior cube spinning experience and is able to control this cube so when it comes apart you can safely put it down. If you're new to this skill I'd say approach with caution as the entry price is extremely high and durability is incredibly concerning.

Material & Weight: We opted for this specific grade of aluminum to have a balance between durability and usability. Switching to a heavier metal like steel makes the cube too heavy to spin comfortably, while a higher grade aluminum could be an option, it would significantly drive up the price for our customers.
The Screws: To keep the exterior completely smooth and snag-free, we use internal grub screws treated with threadlock. Because it's a moving mechanical part, heavy impacts or taking the cube apart can loosen things up, but a quick re-application of threadlock over time should help.
