Strong and Affordable

Prodigy Aerial have designed the PolySafe Shackle Trapeze to provide maximum strength and safety with a rope that is both flexible and comfortable to use.

The Prodigy Aerial PolySafe Rope used on this trapeze is specially designed for Aerial, super strong, and much more affordable than cotton ropes.

The shackle design means ropes and other components are inter-compatible and can be used in different configurations. This modular feature of Prodigy Aerial equipment allows for greater flexibility when rigging.

Polysafe Rope

The single-leg, similar to a traditional rope, gives you a clean presentation for use on a stage and is very comfortable to grip above an Aerial Hoop. The super-strong 2t Working Load Limit (WLL) gives you the industrial strength needed for any rigging situation.

Aerial PolySafe Rope has a polyester webbing cover that is super hard-wearing, abrasion resistant but also soft and comfortable to grip. It has a very comfortable almost elastic feel in hand and is not as chunky to grab as a round sling/strop.

Prodigy Shackles

The Prodigy PolySafe Ropes are fixed to the trapeze bar with high-grade stainless steel (SS316), Prodigy Hex-Lock D shackles. These can be inspected, removed and replaced, and feature on other Prodigy Aerial props such as the Prodigy Multi-point Aerial Hoop.

The shackles have a low profile 6mm bar, and the hex head pin locks into place very neatly in an indentation on the shackle bar. This means it locks securely and with no protruding pin to get in the way. We recommend using a Medium Strength Threadlock on the thread of the pin to eliminate any risk of vibrations loosening the pin.

There is no compromise on safety with a WLL of 300KG (FOS 5:1) on these shackles.

- Si tu es habitué à un trapèze classique, il te faudra peut-être du temps pour t'habituer à la mobilité accrue.

Load tests are performed regularly on all equipment at independent certified testing facilities.

  • Working Load Limit (WLL) : 200kg
  • Factor Of Safety (FOS) : 5:1

Destructive testing is undertaken at regular intervals or when any component is modified. Working load limits are based on permanent deformation.

Never exceed the manufacturer's WLL.

Gréement à point unique

Également connu sous le nom de trapèze de danse, ce type de trapèze est fixé en un seul point au sommet, créant une forme de triangle avec les cordes.

Il est important d'utiliser une plaque de gréement ou un maillon delta dans cette situation pour éviter de tri-charger un mousqueton. Tu peux aussi utiliser un émerillon dans cette configuration.

Gréement à double point

La façon la plus courante de monter un trapèze. Cette méthode permet de séparer les deux cordes et laisse suffisamment d'espace pour les mouvements au-dessus de la barre.

Si tu as un appareil autoportant, tu peux attacher les mousquetons fournis à une estrope ou à une boucle et les étrangler autour de la barre supérieure de l'appareil.

Si tu n'as qu'un seul point d'ancrage, la barre d'écartement aérienne est faite pour toi ! Il suffit d'attacher tes deux mousquetons aux trous prévus à cet effet de chaque côté de la barre.

Great first trapeze

My daughter is just starting on trapeze having focused on hoop and silk this has been the perfect addition. The different options in length allowed us to put it to her preferred working height on her frame. We will be purchasing another fixing point when we get chance just so she has the option of hanging it from the 2 points aswell as 1. She has said the tape is leaving her hands sticky after use at the moment so she is chalking that quite regularly but I wouldn't say its an excessive amount...and can be easily retaped with your preferred tape if you chose.

This is a really good trapeze. Does what it says on the box. Grip is nice. Great lengths. Perfectly priced

These are literally the best trapeze upgrade ever. For someone who is used to stropping hoops at different lengths, these really do convert that over to trapeze, and at a much more reasonable price than a basic trapeze.

These are trapeze for the modern aerialist.

Fantastic idea!

Coming from an aerial hoop background... I have found no issue converting over to working on Trapeze... it feels really similar to what I'm used to. Also being able to buy a system where strop lengths can be changed over is genius.
