The Fibre 3 Contact Fire Staffs have been tried and tested by many excellent contact staffers, resulting in the workhorse of a staff you see before you. The Fibre 3s are hugely popular and have become a favourite among contact staff spinners in the UK and internationally.

The Fibre 3 Contact Fire Staff is the 3rd generation of our ultra-strong pure fibreglass core fire staffs. We have designed the Fibre 3 as pure contact staffs. The fibreglass core is heavy, resulting in an outstanding amount of momentum. This weighted core means the Fibre 3s rotate and stay stuck to you, even at slow speeds.

Features

  • The fibreglass core is so strong that these staffs are virtually indestructible. Fibreglass doesn't conduct heat well, meaning the shaft will not get hot, even after repeated burns. The discreet flex the core provides is firm enough not to hinder play but can still absorb shock from throws.
  • Aluminium heat shields and bash guards cover 25cm of either end of the staff. These help to concentrate weight at the extremities, adding momentum and fluidity to your flow.
  • Each staff comes equipped with 80cm of 100mm wide wick, considerably more than most other brands of fire staff. The large wicks guarantee long-lasting and consistent burns and add additional weight to the ends of the staff, providing yet more momentum.
  • The silicone grip provides considerable friction and is fused to the core with heat and fuel-resistant silicone adhesive. The silicone grip also comes marked with a centre point and two other handy points equidistant from the centre. These two marks are usefully positioned where you would hold the staff for entry into moves like the SNES or Matrix.
  • Most non-Firetoys staffs have a limited lifespan as the wicks are secured with screws that eventually wear away the core. Our bolts go right through and screw into each other, ensuring the wicks are tightly secured and easy to replace. These bolts won't cause deterioration to the core during re-wicking as they screw into each other and not the core.

Caractéristiques du produit

Le noyau solide en fibre de verre rend ces bâtons pratiquement indestructibles. La fibre de verre ne conduit pas bien la chaleur, le manche ne chauffera donc pas, même après des brûlures répétées. Le noyau offre une flexion discrète qui ne gênera pas le jeu mais absorbera les chocs des lancers.

Les boucliers thermiques et les protections contre les coups en aluminium couvrent 25 cm à chaque extrémité du bâton. Ils permettent de concentrer le poids aux extrémités, ce qui ajoute de l'élan et de la fluidité à ton lancer.

La poignée en silicone offre une friction considérable et est fusionnée au noyau avec un adhésif en silicone résistant à la chaleur et au carburant.

La poignée en silicone est également marquée d'un point central et de deux autres points pratiques équidistants du centre. Ces deux marques sont utilement positionnées à l'endroit où tu tiendrais le bâton pour entrer dans des mouvements comme ceux de la SNES ou de Matrix.

Chaque bâton contient 80 cm de mèche de 100 mm de large, soit beaucoup plus que la plupart des bâtons. Les grandes mèches te permettent d'obtenir de longues brûlures et un poids supplémentaire aux extrémités pour plus d'élan !

La plupart des bâtons ont une durée de vie limitée car les mèches sont fixées par des vis qui usent l'âme. Nos boulons passent à travers et se vissent les uns aux autres, de sorte que les mèches sont solidement fixées, remplaçables et n'endommagent pas l'âme.

Excellent!

Arrived much quicker than expected and is great quality. Wicks are bigger than expected but I’m not complaining! Only thing is the silicone grip can be lethal if it gets ahold of any hair, so may get some different grip tape.
