Replace Your Tired Fibers or Customise Your Set-up

How soon and how many fibers you lose depends mainly on how hard you whip. Play hard and you may need a new head every 3 months. This could be up to every two years for those who like it a little gentler.

This product contains the full bunch of fibers, the super smooth bearing head, and the threaded attachment.

A standard length for light whipping is around 180cm, but this depends on personal preference and your style. Short arms? You might prefer a shorter whip.

With these Replacement Fiber Heads you can trim your whip to your desired length. Want a new effect from your whip? Try cutting only the longest fibers to keep the full volume of the bundle. Try cutting the same length off all the fibers to keep the spacing evenly distributed. Mix it up, have fun, create something new for you! Try braiding or weaving your fibers to make it a single or double strand rope. This allows for more rope dart-like and less “wild” style of play. Braided whips are easier to control.

Mega FiberHead - 160

The Mega Fiberhead 160 has the same long strands of fibre optics as the standard fiber head included with the PixelWhip 4. The difference is the number of strands is doubled (from 80 to 160 strands!). This gives a fuller and far more impressive visual effect, AND the entire bundle of fibers looks way brighter.

With more fibers to catch more light, the entire length of the whip is more visible. Your shapes will look cleaner and much more impressive, and grid work will be significantly enhanced.

Tips for Fibre Longevity

  • Fiber grip moves cause the fibers to break more.
  • If you get tangled, don’t pull. Go back the other way until you can free the whip.
  • Avoid hitting with too much force on hard surfaces!
  • Don’t step on the fibers!
  • Jewellery and buckles can break the fibers if they get caught in them.
  • Clean the fibers regularly and use personal silicone lube. If the fibers are very dirty, you can try 3-IN-ONE All-Temperature Silicone Oil.
  • Comb your fingers through the fibers every now and then.

Bought myself a pixel whip for my birthday. Am very very happy. Tis much fun, and immediately impressive. Only problem is my 5 year old now wants it.

Quick Delivery

Ordered Mon - arrived Thu by FedEx. Purchase DID include another fiberflies accessory bag, which was a nice surprise. Just in time for the next rave, the 160 is a beast after my 80 head lost a bunch of strands over the year :)

Love

Just received this today. It arrived at the speed of light! (Placed order late Monday morning and it arrived on Wednesday before noon. Priority shipping is worth it if you want it quick) I am no stranger to Fiber Flies whips. I have their PixelWhip 4 and have loved it from the day I got it almost 5 years ago. I felt like it was time for an upgrade and the Mega did not disappoint. It is noticeably heavier since it features twice the fibers. It sort of splits into two because it is so dense. Kind of reminds me of dancing with two whips. It took me a couple of hours of playing with it to find a flow that I liked. I have to do larger movements away from my body to keep it flowing. I also had to trim the fibers quite a bit in order to eliminate the extra slack to prevent it from overlapping and snagging. For reference I am 5'1, and I trimmed the fibers to fit my arm span. I literally could not reach the end to keep it flowing otherwise. If I want a more controlled and closer to my body flow, I plan to opt in for my 4. If I'm in the mood to go big, I'll do my new Mega!
