Si tu n'as pas établi un bolasnt de gréement sûr, fais-le d'abord avec l'aide d'un ingénieur en structure/gréeur expérimenté/professionnel qui connaît bien ce que tu accroches et l'endroit où tu l'accroches.

Strong and Sleek

If you're looking for a reliable and stylish way to rig your aerial silks, the Prodigy silks hook is an excellent choice. Crafted from high-quality steel with a sleek black matte finish, this hook both looks and feels great.

If you need something lightweight for travel, or smaller for low height, you might prefer a Figure 8.

Robust Rigging

The large round barrel of this hook distributes the user's load more broadly along the length of the silks (giving a higher D:d ratio), meaning no one part of your fabric is under more load than the others.

This means your silks will last longer and remain stronger!

The mild steel hooks have a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 300kg. That's based on a 5:1 ratio on permanent deformation, not destruction. We've tested these until they break - that happens upwards of 50kN!

Easy Separation

The variety of knots available for this hook also means that you can get a much cleaner separation between the two strands of your silk without affecting the working load or risking the silks slipping.

It's also easier to tie your knots onto this hook without the risk of damaging your fabric, which can happen with a Figure 8 if you're not careful.

The most common knots for your fabrics with these hooks are a Prusik Hitch (super easy to tie!) and a Clove Hitch. These will give you excellent separation of the fabric.

You can also use these to rig two different coloured fabrics together very cleanly, rig hammocks/slings, or even shorten your trapeze/ rope (corde lisse)!
